"Aurora Borealis-" 18x24 Diptych Set

Aurora Borealis is a series exploring the colors created by natures most spectacular events.  Aurora's, also known as Northern and Southern Lights, in actual reality is a scientific event caused by the collision of various gases in the atmosphere.  Having a science background this beautiful event has always captured my curiosity and I had to look no further to find my inspiration.

In this series, I capture the essence of this natural occurring event by expressing it through interference and color-shifting paints and colors.  I wanted to create a sense of mystery and a "celestial dance," of colors.

This series is my take on how Aurora Borealis looks through my eyes and how I interpret this spectacular event.
