Learn how to create fluid art with intention from a variety of techniques! 

In this technique you will learn how to create Shelee Art signature style blooms and swipes; but without any house paint, varnish or other industrial products used in a traditional bloom.  Shelee Carruthers is the creator of the Shelee Bloom technique where she has pioneered the creation of cells without silicone.

In this 3 hour lesson; I will go over an alternative pouring medium recipe and ratios on how to mix all your acrylic paint including your base paint.

I will also teach you the correct ratios and brands to achieve optimal cell creation with Australian Floetrol.  

We will utilize and discuss tools to swipe with such as palette knives and how to hold your swiping tools correctly.  I will also show you how to load your palette knife with your cell activator.

I will demonstrate how to create a “puddle” swipe painting as well as explore swipes with negative space.  We will also discuss composition and how to achieve a meaningful composition.

Not only you will learn how to mix your paints to the proper consistency; but you will learn all about color theory and creating cell art with intention.
