In this technique you will learn how to create Shelee Art signature style Blooms; but without any house paint, varnish or other industrial products used in a traditional bloom. Shelee Carruthers is the creator of the Shelee Bloom technique where she has pioneered the creation of cells without silicone.
In this 2.5 hour lesson; I will go over an alternative pouring medium recipe and ratios on how to mix all your acrylic paint including your base paint. You will learn how to layer your paints and how to use a hairdryer to blow your colors to create a beautiful bloom. We will also utilize a spinner to stretch your bloom and also how to tilt your canvas to make a more abstract bloom.
I will also teach you the correct ratios and brands to achieve optimal cell creation with Australian Floetrol.
The lesson is 2.5 hours in length and includes a video call one week prior to your lesson; to go over all materials.
Not only you will learn how to mix your paints to the proper consistency; but you will learn all about color theory and creating cell art with intention.
